There has been a new development with respect to the casting of Saif Ali Khan’s much anticipated action flick ‘Agent Vinod’. Grapevine has it that leggy beauty Deepika Padukone has been approached to play a parallel lead alongside Saif's girlfriend Kareena Kapoor in the movie. The two rivals come together for the first time thereby raising stakes of this high octane action drama.

Mumbai: There has been a new development with respect to the casting of Saif Ali Khan’s much anticipated action flick ‘Agent Vinod’. Grapevine has it that leggy beauty Deepika Padukone has been approached to play a parallel lead alongside Kareena Kapoor in the movie. The two rivals come together for the first time thereby raising stakes of this high octane action drama. It is already known that Bebo and Dips share a troubled past. It must be remembered how Kareena openly expressed her displeasure about Deepika, when the latter was chosen as Saif’s co-star in her favorite director Imitiaz Ali’s movie ‘Love Aaj Kal’. Despite Bebo’s rant, the movie proved a box office hit and Saif-Dips jodi was loved by the audience. Moreover, since Saif also happens to be one of the producers of ‘Agent Vinod’, he thinks it totally makes sense for him and Deepika to be paired again and Kareena doesn’t seem to be complaining about it. Co-producer Dinesh Vijan is presently in talks with Deepika. If things work out, this would be the first time Bebo and Dippy would co-star in a film. A source spills the beans. "Even though it`s a second lead, the character plays an important role. Saif is extremely professional as a producer and will cast the actor who will do proper justice to the role. And while Kareena and Deepika aren`t friends that will not come in the way of casting." On the other hand Deepika, neither denied nor confirmed the report, however, we still hope the lass gets roped in for she is just apt to be the one among the deadly threesome!
