London: The gorgeous belles outshone the hunky guys as the stars of `Twilight` walked down the red carpet for the premiere of sequel `New Moon`.
Actresses Kirsten Stewart and Ashley Greene gave actors Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner a run for their money as they appeared in their designer gowns for the premiere in Los Angeles on Sunday night, Daily Mail reported.
Stewart, 19, who plays the female lead Bella Swan in the series, wore a stunning Oscar de la Renta dress to the gala event.
Greene looked stunning in a clinging but elegant red Prabal Gurung gown with shoulder detail and large hoop earrings. The 22-year-old actress required an extra person to help her walk the carpet in her traffic-stopping outfit.
Even Pattinson ditched his normal scruffy red carpet attire and turned up in a black Gucci suit, much to the delight of his screaming fans who gave him a Beatles-worthy reception.
"It`s got bigger. Especially as we travel all over the entire world. We had 20,000 people in Munich yesterday. It`s kind of incredible, to have done all these cities in a week, and it`s still just as intense everywhere," said Pattinson.
Lautner, 17, wearing a blue suit, looked overwhelmed by the massive reception from fans, many of whom had been camping out since Thursday night.
The premiere was also attended by `Twilight` author Stephenie Meyer and stars like Michael Sheen and Jennifer Love Hewitt.
