Peaches Geldof and Eli Roth end 8-month old affair

London: Peaches Geldof and Eli Roth have reportedly split after staying together for eight months. The 21-year-old socialite and her 38-year-old film director beau are thought to have decided to end their relationship due to work commitments, reported Mirror online.

The couple first started dating after meeting at Vanity Fair`s prestigious post-Oscars party in March. "Peaches is really sad that things didn`t work out with Eli. They were very much in love and she`d never been so nuts about a guy," said a source close to the couple. "But both are hard workers and have huge commitments coming up, so they were due to be spending too much time apart. It was almost better for them to part ways before things got even trickier with making time for each other," added the source. And while Peaches might ordinarily use Twitter to comment on the reports, she has taken a break from the micro blogging site in recent weeks. "I`m going to be off twitter for a while, but i`ll be back to update you all with my mundane, rambling chains of thought before you know it," she wrote on her Twitter page three weeks ago. PTI
