Zee News launches its Hindi website

New Delhi: From its inexhaustible stable of news, sports, business and entertainment, Zee News has once again come out with yet another offering - its Hindi website: www.zeenews.com/Hindi The site was launched at India’s first eco-friendly concert organized at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. Parikrama and Solar Punch put impressive performance at the event, which was attended by a several hundred strong crowd of cheering fans. Sensing the need for an ever increasing demand for news in the Hindi language and the fast spread of connectivity in the Hindi hinterland, the Zee Group felt the time was ripe for such a product. Speaking on the occasion, Zee News, Editor, Satish K Singh said: “Our focus will be to bring to the reader fast, accurate and in-depth news and account of major events. There was a large lacuna in this segment which we propose to fill.” The Hindi website will be closely integrated with the mother channel Zee News, which is also India’s first and one of the leading 24 X 7 Hindi news channels. The site will have all the ingredients to keep readers glued – besides Top News and exclusive scoops, it will also focus on International News, Sports, Showbiz, Business and Health. Blogs, Videos and Picture Galleries will add further value and interactivity.
