William Shatner to star in Twitter-inspired sitcom

Twitter phenomenon `S**t My Dad Says` is set to be turned into a sitcom.

New York: Twitter phenomenon "S**t My Dad Says" is set to be turned into a sitcom with William Shatner playing dad.
The pilot will be based on the Twitter account, which has attracted over 1 million followers since it hit the Internet in August, making its creator, Justin Halpern, an Internet star, reports a newspaper. The pilot, to be aired on CBS, will be executive-produced by David Kohan and Max Mutchnick, the creators of `Will & Grace`. Halpern, 29, launched `Sh**t My Dad Says`, a Twitter feed with colourful – often profane – comments made by his 73-year-old dad during their daily conversations. ANI
