Los Angeles: The stars of the hit reality TV show `Jersey Shore` have ended their strike after their producers agreed to triple their salary, from USD 10,000 per episode to USD 30,000.The cast of MTV`s runaway hit reality show refused to let cameras tape them last weekend, saying they were holding out until they got more money.
Two of the show`s top stars, Nicole `Snooki` Polizzi and Mike `The Situation` Sorrentino, have reached a new lucrative deal, reported TMZ online. The deal was struck late Monday night and the cast will get back to shooting the show later this week. But it is Sorrentino who has made the most of the new deal. The reality star famous for his muscled and tanned look will rake in anywhere between USD 27,500 to USD 45,000 per episode. MTV has also offered him a one-time bonus for the impending Season 2 in Miami, which would range from USD 60,000 to USD 180,000, depending on the ratings. PTI
