Brisbane: A US hip hop front man might have performed in a sold-out show in West End but he still feels that Brisbane is a city of racists.
Tyler Okonma, of Los Angeles group ‘Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All’ (otherwise known as Odd Future), vented out his anger with a series of comments on Twitter. 20-year-old Okonma, who is also known by his stage name ‘Tyler, The Creator’, reportedly told his million followers on Twitter that people in Brisbane were ‘racist as f***’ and that he was willing to go back home as he had been feeling ‘uncomfortable’. “I get this weird vibe,” the Brisbane Times quoted him as tweeting. “Im in Brisbane Right Now....They hate Niggas Out Here....” he added but felt that Melbourne ‘was cool’. Okonma later revealed to the crowd at his sold-out show at West End’s ‘The Hi-Fi’ that he had had a run-in with a ``’racist asshole’ at a KFC in Brisbane. ANI
