McGregor mistaken for Cobain`s ghost

McGregor was once mistaken as the ghost of Kurt Cobain.

London, May 20: Scottish actor Ewan McGregor was once mistaken as the ghost of late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain. The `Trainspotting` actor happened to be in London when the legendary American rocker committed suicide in the year 1994, and after a few days of the incident, on a night out with pals he was accosted by a couple who were convinced he was the dead singer, reported Contactmusic.

"This couple came around the corner and they saw me, and at the time I had quite long hair. I think it would be safe to say they were on some form of chemical enhancement. The guy thought I was Kurt Cobain and he looked at me and slightly panicked and grabbed hold of his girlfriend and he asked me if I was Kurt," McGregor told Britain`s Heart FM. But Mc Gregor decided to play a prank instead of telling them the truth . "I just went, `Shhhh. Don`t tell anyone,` and I left them really confused in the street," added the `Star Wars` star".
