Sridevi happy for Broadway shows coming to India

Mumbai: Actress Sridevi is waiting for acclaimed Broadway shows `Cirque de Glace` and `Snow White on Ice` to take place in the city this April.

"I have seen Broadway shows abroad and they are perfect. I am sure this one will be even greater than that," Sridevi told reporters here at a press conference organised for the announcement of the show. Sridevi is happy that such shows are happening in the country now. "Whenever we want such shows to be watched by our children we take them abroad. But this is happening for the first time in India. This is a very nice thing. It will be a nice outing with healthy entertainment," she said. "We learn a lot through these shows. The dedication, hard work, the way they dance... They are so professional. So it`s not only entertainment, it encapsulates a lot of things," she added. The Broadway shows will be held from February 21 until April 17 at Aamby Valley under the title of `Aamby Valley Broadway Delights`. PTI
