`Friends` Phoebe-Monica reunite for `Smelly Cat`

It was a `Friends` flashback for the audience at a concert in LA!

London: After news that the original cast of cult TV series `Friends` are going to reunite on the silver screen, actors Lisa Kudrow and Courtney Cox came together to recreate a favourite movement from the series with a rendition of the song `Smelly Cat`. It was a `Friends` flashback for the audience at the `Rock A Little, Feed A Lot` concert in Los Angeles, when Kudrow who played the ditzy hippie Phoebe in the series took the stage to introduce singer Sheryl Crow only to find the audience asking her to sing instead, reported a news website.
After the audience called out for her to play her signature tune `Smelly Cat`, the now 46-year-old Kudrow asked her former co-star Courtney Cox Arquette aka Monica for help, but she instead gleefully joined her on stage telling the stagehands, "Get her a guitar, people!" The two then joined together in a rendition of the song and hitting the right notes wasn`t really a concern, as the audience cheered them on. After news of a Friends reunion, the track, which first appeared in season two, 1995, too is undergoing something of a revival. A dance version of the song is currently doing the rounds on the web. When told of the new development with the song, Kudrow said, "I can`t wait to hear if it is any good," noting the original "is a good tune". Bureau Report
