London, July 13: The `King of Pop` Michael Jackson may have tried his best to keep his children away from the spotlight, but if his father Joe Jackson has his way, the
world may soon see `The Jackson Three`.Joe Jackson who had an uneasy relationship with his legendary son and was accused of abuse by Jackson, plans to take the pop star`s three children, Prince Michael, 12, Paris Katherine, 11 and Blanket on a world tour as `The Jackson Three`, reported Sun online.
Ian Harperlin, the author of the `Thriller` hitmaker`s
unofficial autobiography titled `Unmasked: The Final Years of
Michael Jackson` claims that Joe is planning a showbiz career
for his grand children despite opposition from the rest of the
family.
"Joe wants the children to go on a world tour in 2010. He has already offered recording contracts to two of Michael`s kids. Now he is talking about getting them the world`s best backing band and taking them on tour as The Jackson Three," Halperin claims in his book.
"One of the family members is livid. He is saying Joe seems intent to do this no matter what. He wants to exploit the kids the same way he did Michael," added Harperlin.
Joe Jackson was the manager of the group `Jackson`s Five` that launched Michael`s music career and now he plans to do something similar with his grandchildren.
There are also reports that Jackson`s mother Katherine was in secret talks with Debbie Rowe, the pop star`s ex-wife to exclude Joe from the children`s lives.
