Mumbai: It’s been over eight months since the release of Bollywood’s most sensational film ‘3 Idiots’, and it seems like the party has still not over for lead actors Aamir Khan, Sharman Joshi and director Rajkumar Hirani, for they haven’t started shooting for a single new film post their last release.
Buzz has it that Aamir, Sharman and Raju are flooded with offers, but they’ve decided to sit it out. Talking to a news daily, an insider from the industry said, “Any other actor would’ve made the most of having been part of a successful film. Aamir is busy with film promotions, Raju is writing his scripts and Sharman, who refused comedies like ‘Golmaal 3’, has not signed anything yet.”
The reason for Aamir Khan and Hirani is quite reasonable but for Sharman, the industry source further added that, “Sharman has always stressed on quality over quantity. He will only do so when a genuinely good script and a challenging role comes his way.”
Apparently, Aamir Khan has been busy with the promotion of his home production ‘Peepli Live’, which releases next month and Hirani is busy with the script of his new ‘Munnabhai’ series, but neither Aamir nor Hirani has called the shots for quite some time now and it wouldn’t be wrong to say that the trio of ‘3 Idiots’ are at present jobless and out of work!
