Boyle`s waxwork unveiled at Tussauds

Susan Boyle now has a place in the haloed halls of Madame Tussauds wax museum.

London: Susan Boyle, the `singing angel` who went from obscurity to international fame with the reality TV show `Britain`s Got Talent`, now has a place in the haloed halls of the world famous Madame Tussauds wax museum.
The 50-year-old unveiled her USD 250,000 wax double at the new Madame Tussauds in Blackpool and had donated the black outfit worn by her replica, reported a website.
"They have done a very good job. It feels fantastic,` she said. It was such a great process to be involved in and it looks very realistic," said Boyle whose first album went on to sell more than two million copies. The 2009 talent show runner-up from Scotland, giggled as she said that there was only one person who she would like her waxwork to stand next to. "Simon Cowell of course, no doubt about that," she said. The wax model wore an elegant black outfit donated by the singer, which she wore in the video for her cover of The Rolling Stones` Wild Horses. Her model will stand in the `Big Night In` area of the attraction, alongside the likes of Bruce Forsyth, Gok Wan and Alan Carr. PTI
