Mumbai: Actress Neha Saxena is back on the tube. After featuring in ‘Tere Liye’, she took a break, but her belief in the saying `out of sight is out of mind` has brought her back to face the camera - even if it is for a cameo.
She has taken up a cameo in the upcoming show, ‘Amita Ka Amit’.
"I don`t mind doing this cameo at the moment. I believe in the principle of `out of sight is out of mind`. I have not done anything crucial for a while and therefore wanted to take this up," Neha said.
However, she also made sure the role was creatively satisfying for her.
"I don`t want to be just standing on screen and smiling. I want to do something concrete. I want to do something where I am creatively satisfied. This role was interesting and that is why I took it up," she said.
Talking about her role in ‘Amita Ka Amit’, produced by Swastik Productions, she reveals she plays a sweet simple girl.
"She is very sweet to everyone around her and is very protective and concerned," she said.
During her break, which lasted over a year, Neha enjoyed traveling and even pursued her hobby of interior decoration.
"I traveled to Malaysia and was roaming around. I was also doing a course in interior decoration, something which I love to do. Now the course is over and I am ready to make my comeback," she said.
Doesn`t she want to pursue interior decoration professionally?
"I have not planned anything at the moment. But I am thinking about it," said Neha, who feels doing a cameo instead of a lead role will give her the time and freedom to do other things.
"The cameo is a good comeback as I am not stuck to one show. I can also do other things," she said.
