Mumbai: Until ‘RA.One’ hits the Box Office, Shah Rukh Khan will remain an anxious man. Shah Rukh has been devoting all his energies to his most ambitious project ‘RA.One’ so much so that the actor has not one but three directors on board to make sure that the film has all the ingredients to make it a super hit.
Inspired by the likes of Aamir Khan and Salman Khan, who are eager to give their creative inputs, SRK doesn’t mind snooping into his director’s business.
Apparently, SRK had creative differences with ‘RA.One’ director Anubhav Sinha and soon asked his friend Karan Johar to helm couple of scenes for the film in 2010. As of now, ‘Dostana’ director Tarun Mansukhani has joined ‘RA.One’ for the last twenty day’s shoot, while Sinha has been sidelined.
Talking to a daily, a source said, “Karan told Shah Rukh that he is extremely busy at the moment with his own directorial venture ‘Student Of The Year,’ which goes on floors next month. However, Karan provided him with an option. He told Shah Rukh that Tarun Mansukhani was very competent, had a great equation with Priyanka Chopra since his ‘Dostana’ days and would be just right to take over the last schedule.”
“Shah Rukh was very happy with Mansukhani’s work on the last schedule. Mansukhani also shares a great equation with Kareena since the days of ‘Kabhie Khushi Kabhie Gham,’ in which he had assisted Karan. For ‘RA.One,’ he shot a few scenes with Kareena as well,” added the source.
When contacted, Anubhav Sinha gave a diplomatic answer, “Arre maulah. Mansukhani was helping SRK in the capacity of an executive producer.”
