AC/DC’s frontman lashes out at Bob Geldof

Brian Johnson has criticised Bob Geldof for hogginh limelight at a charity event.

Melbourne: Singer Brian Johnson has criticised Bob Geldof, accusing him of hogging limelight with his charity work.

The AC/DC frontman said the band hated attention seeking charity events and referred to turning down a slot at 1985`s Live Aid. "Bob Geldof is a canny lad. He did what he thought was right at the time but it didn’t work. The money didn’t go to poor people,” a daily quoted him as saying. “It makes me mad when people try to use politics or charity for publicity. Do a charity gig, fair enough, but not on worldwide television," he added. ANI
