Derek Houghs feels guilty over Cheryl`s malaria

London: Dancer-choreographer, Derek Hough feels "guilty" and "dreadful" for pop star Cheryl Cole`s illness, which she is believed to have caught while the pair escaped for holiday to Tanzania.

The `Dancing with the Stars` two time winner, Hough, who is rumoured to be dating the popstar, escaped with her on a romantic break to Tanzania, which unfortunately resulted in her to developing the fatal disease, The Sun online reported. The 25-year-old hunk has reportedly cancelled all assignments to be with Cheryl`s during her tough time. "Derek feels guilty. He is very distressed about all of this. He feels he has done this to her. He rang his mom in tears. He organised the holiday as something wonderful. For it to end up like this is terrible. He feels dreadful," said Aaron Nelson, Hough`s stepfather. The `Fight for This Love` singer, who earlier collapsed during a photoshoot and was advised rest by doctors, was later hospitalised on being found suffering from malaria and has spent five nights in the medical centre battling the fatal disease. "She really is very poorly indeed and doctors aren`t taking any chances. She is now in the best place for her with the best experts in the field to look after her," a source said. PTI
