Beyonce’s dad files legal papers over stealing singer’s fortune allegations

Washington: Beyonce’s father has filed legal papers to fight back against the allegations that he stole a part of his daughter’s fortune while he was her manager.

According to TMZ.com, legal documents filed by Mathew Knowles claimed that he never stole the singer’s fortune, reports Contactmusic. He accused Live Nation Entertainment bosses of lying to his daughter that he “had stolen money from Beyonce on her most recent tour or otherwise taken funds that (he) was not entitled to”. The ‘Crazy in Love’ singer in fact warned her legal eagles that prompted them to conduct an audit, which concluded that Knowles had indeed taken money from her. However now Beyonce’s dad has denied all the theft accusations, asked a judge to give him the right to take depositions of various people at Live Nation just to know what had made them conclude that he was a thief. Beyonce and her father parted company as business partners earlier this year. ANI
