London: Jordan’s new hubby Alex Reid is down with a severe bout of diarrhoea, just a day after arriving in India.
The 34-year-old will be in poor health as he challenges India’s top fighters for a new TV show.
The Celebrity Big Brother winner was spotted in pain as he arrived in the northwestern town of Nashik after stopping in Mumbai.
"He could barely speak he was so shattered. And now he’s got a week of being pummelled by fighters," a daily quoted a pal as saying.
After all the cagefighter had just been through a 10,000 mile, 24-hour journey from Las Vegas, where he tied the knotty with Jordan, 31, last week.
He flew back to London with his new wife and then jetsetted to India.
The source said: "His body clock is all over the place and he looks awful. The poor man can hardly stand - it’s no wonder his immune system fell at the first hurdle."
Speaking in Nashik, where he will take on India’s first kickboxing champ, Reid said: "I just want to go to bed."
Bravo channel’s “Alex Reid: The Fight Of His Life” will see Reid battle various martial art experts.
And the filming will surely leave him too tired to celebrate his first Valentine’s Day with Jordan.
An insider said: "If Kate thinks he’s going to be up for a romantic night, she’s in for a surprise. Alex will come back a broken man."
