Washington: An Indiana-based optical company has reportedly rolled out prescription eyeglasses for Google's hi-tech wearable computing device Glass.
Longe Optical said that it was the first optical company to unveil the eyeglasses and the company looked forward to optimizing the Google Glass experience.
According to Mashable, the company's president Jeff Ostermann explained that the design of the prescription glasses had been inspired in by Google's existing sunglass shade offering as an add-on to the Glass.
Similar prescription glasses were unveiled by Rochester Optical in the last month while recently, a Google employee happened to leak photos of what is touted as the official version of prescription Google Glass.
The search giant's controversial device is currently limited to a group of Google Glass Explorers and a public rollout is expected in 2014.
