Prince Charles’ painting could be worth £2,500

A shopper who purchased Prince Charles` painting could get some big bucks!

London: A shopper who purchased a painting made by the Prince of Wales could get some big bucks for the piece.
The unidentified shopper snapped up Prince Charles’ watercolour painting of the Cotswolds countryside on a market stall in Devizes, Wiltshire, for just 60 pounds. However, the painting, which was originally a gift to Charles’ Highgrove House designer, the late Dudley Poplak, is worth nearly 2,500 pounds, according to Clarence House. “Prince Charles paints in his spare time and doesn’t produce that many pictures so it’s likely this is a lithograph,” a news daily quoted a spokesperson for the Prince, as saying. “Occasionally the originals are exhibited but not sold. However the lithographs can be bought for around 2,500 pounds,” the rep added. ANI
