In an interview to the Times of India, Goel said that he will look into quality of construction of the houses and also “ensure that houses are handed over to public as soon as construction is over”.  He also added that DDA will use “pre-fabricated material in future projects” to ensure good construction quality.

Sharing his concern on land encroachments, Goel said that the authority is trying to digitise the entire process so that there can be regular monitoring of vacant land. For this the DDA has requested the Delhi government to provide “GIS data using which we will digitally map our land,” he said.

On the issue of the perception of people on DDA's working, the DDA VC said that the authority is working hard to win back people's trust. He also said that DDA is trying to simplify the process of “conversion of property from leasehold to freehold”.
