New Delhi: Cheteshwar Pujara has been a mainstay in India's Test squad for quite some time. The right-handed batsman scored an emphatic hundred in Rajkot against England, the country where his fortunes started turning around.

Pujara was a part of India's Test squad that toured England in 2014. After dismal performances in the entire series, the Saurashtra batsman took to county cricket to improve his form.

Derbyshire was the team to hand him that chance. In the season ending finale against Leicestershire, Pujara got out for probably one of the worst reasons ever in his cricketing career.

Trying to defend a short of a length delivery, Pujara panicked as the ball went too close to the stumps. The fear of ball hitting the stumps was such that he weaved the ball away from danger with his hands.

The keeper quickly asked the umpire for 'handling the ball' and Pujara had no choice but head back to the pavilion.
