Fans 'attack' Virat Kohli for picking Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan over Gautam Gambhir

New Delhi: The BCCI on Monday announced India's squad for the three-match Test series against New Zealand.

Though the squad remained largely unchanged, fans questioned the logic behind the Indian board's decision to retain Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan.

Considering Gautam Gambhir's form in the ongoing Duleep Trophy, many felt he deserved a place in the side ahead of the duo.

After being ignored, the Delhi batsman took to social micro-blogging site Twitter to share this message with his fans and followers.

Clearly unhappy with Virat Kohli and the BCCI, fans attacked India's Test skipper for playing favorites during squad selection.

Many felt that Virat's decision governed by his ego and that better sense hadn't prevailed.
