HILARIOUS! When Pakistani crowd tweaked Bollywood song 'Babuji Zara Dheere Chalo' to 'Balaji Zara Dheere Chalo'
Lakshimpathy Balaji was one of India's top performers during India's tour of Pakistan in 2004.
New Delhi: Former Indian pacer Lakshmipathy Balaji brought end to his 16-year-long first class cricket career on Thursday. Though he did not have a long stint in the Indian jersey, the speedster did manage to bag 8 Tests, 30 ODIs and 4 T20Is to his name.
As Balaji revealed plan to stick to only franchise cricket – Indian Premier League and Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) – former teammate Irfan Pathan revealed an incident during the 2004 India-Pakistan series where the home crowd tweaked the lyrics of famous song "Babuji Zara Dheere Chalo" to "Balaji Zara Dheere Chalo" targeting the in-form Lakshmipathy Balaji.
