Lokesh Rahul shuts down fan who tried to troll him for his poor form

Lokesh Rahul certainly seems to have taken a leaf out of R Ashwin's book in terms of dealing with trolls on social media.

New Delhi: Indian opener Lokesh Rahul, who looked convincing across formats in 2016, has been struggling to rediscover his mojo in 2017.

The Bangalore batsman had a forgettable limited-overs series against England, where he managed to score just 125 runs from six matches. Even in the one-off Test against Bangladesh, Rahul failed to find his rhythm and was dismissed for scores of 2 and 10 rspectively.

When Rahul posted an update on Twitter on Tuesday, one of the fans tried to troll him for his poor form.

Here's what the fan tweeted:

Rahul, who usually doesn't reply to trolls, was tempted to leave a reply and here's what he tweeted back:

Rahul was followed by premier Indian off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin on Twitter today.

The stylish right-hander certainly seems to have taken a leaf out of the offie's book in terms of dealing with trolls on social media.
