New Delhi: Former Pakistani cricketer Wasim Akram has expressed his disappointment over the ongoing feud between Shahid Afridi and Javed Miandad.

Afridi and Miandad, two of Pakistan's greatest ever cricketers have publicly slammed each other after the latter accused Afridi of fixing matches for Pakistan.

Akram took to Twitter on Tuesday to react to the controversy where he said that both the cricketers should sort out their differences soon by talking to each other.

After Miandad accused Afridi of match-fixing, he said that he will take legal action against Miandad for such big claims.

Responding to the statement, Afridi said, "Javed Miandad has been thinking about money all his life and he still is. A cricketer of his stature should not do such cheap talks. This was the difference between Imran Khan and Miandad."

In his response, speaking to a Pakistani news channel, an infuriated Miandad said, "I would want Shahid Afridi to swear by his children and say that he has not fixed matches for Pakistan and has not sold Pakistan. I am a witness, I have caught him. I had caught the entire team. These people are fixers and they are talking about money

Miandad claimed that he also had evidence.

"One doesn't get respect like anything. It is because of Allah that one gets respect. They are son of thieves, have fixed matches, I can also get evidence against them," he concluded.
