New Delhi: Indian Test captain Virat Kohli on Sunday scored a double century on the fourth day of the fourth test match against England at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

The 28-year-old created history as he became the first Indian captain to score three Test double centuries in a calendar year.

Earlier this year, he had scored a double century against West Indies when India toured the Caribbean Islands in June-July. And that was his first double century in Tests. He scored his second double century against New Zealand at home.
