New Delhi: Verbal spats during a cricket match is not a common sight these days. Sometimes players couldn't control their adrenaline rush and tend to do silly things on the field.

From the viewers point of view, things tend to get excited, sometimes ugly too.

We will show you the brutal as well as funny reply by an Indian player which can be said as "Don't mess with an Indian ever".

This happened during the 1st Test match of India's tour of South Africa in 2006. India had a 165 runs 1st innings lead after dismissing South Africa for a mere 84 in the 1st innings at Johannesburg.

In the 2nd innings, India were 9 down for 219, lead being 384. One of the batsmen present at the crease was S Sreesanth – known for his bowling not too much for batting. In the 1st innings he took 5 for 32 to reduce the Proteas to 84.

But when he arrived at the crease in the second innings, something happened that no-one thought would.

Andre Nel welcomed Sreesanth with few words (not sweet words by any means), and this charged up Sree. The next ball, Sreesanth put his dancing shoes on and hit Nell for a huge six.

After hitting a six he performs his famous 'impromptu dance', showing his batting skills to South African bowler.

Sreesanth was quoted as saying, "As soon as I walked in to bat, Nel said 'I can smell blood. You do not have the guts.' Showing his emblem on the shirt, Nel said 'I am playing for this. You are a scared fellow, rabbit. I will get you next ball'.

"Before delivering the next ball, Nel had also asked Mark Boucher to stay back and had also moved the short leg fielder. I being a fast bowler myself, knew Nel was going to bowl a bouncer. I just took my chance and prayed to God. I stepped out to connect the ball which flew over the ropes."

He also said, "It just happened. I myself wondered when I saw it (TV).''

Here is how it all happened in the match:
