We win some and lose some, Sachin Tendulkar backs India to give Australia a strong reply in Bengaluru

The Aussies bundled out the home side in a humiliating 333-runs victory, their first Test win in almost 13 years on Indian soil.

New Delhi: Little Master Sachin Tendulkar finally brought out his views on India's staggering loss to the Aussies in the first Test match in Pune on Saturday. Putting his tremendous experience and wisdom into place, Sachin said that he feels that the Indian team does have the spirit to get up and fight back in the remainder of the series.

A little over 12 hours ago, misery had struck the much-confident Indian team against the team from Down Under. Going into the battle as number one Test team with a 19-match unbeaten streak, India aimed for a similar display at the Maharashtra Association Cricket Stadium, but much to their surprise Steve Smith's men had something better in their reserve.

The Aussies bundled out the home side in a humiliating 333-run victory, their first Test win in almost 13 years on Indian soil. 

Twitter erupted with various trolls, along with messages from the experts of the game, but here is the Master Blaster, all to encourage Virat Kohli and his team.

"We have just lost the first match. We haven't lost the series," said Sachin, on his visit to 21 kilometre Delhi Half- Marathon early this morning. "Sports includes winning and losing, but it is about how you fight back. And as far as I know, the team does have the spirit to stand up and answer back with a win."

Meanwhile, the original little master had quite a different say in this regard. Critisising India's fighting spirit, Sunil Gavaskar came out to term the home side's performance to be "careless". The batting legend was disappointed at the fact that the Indians went down without fighting in just 75 overs.

"I can hardly recollect when India last lost a Test in just two-and-a-half days. This was surely our worst ever."

As a matter of fact, Sunil Gavaskar went on to applaud the Aussies for the way they handled spin. "Especially for youngRenshaw and skipper Smith, they handled and fought well," he added.

India will next go against the Aussie-power in Bengaluru on March 4 for the second Test match of the series, hoping to equalise the score to 1-1. Following that, third match wil be on March 16 in Ranchi and the fourth on March 25 at Dharamsala.
