Which Indian cricketer had the best wardrobe? Sourav Ganguly's answer will surprise you

New Delhi: While Indian cricketers try to give their 100 percent on the cricket field, some of them are known for their style statement off it. In the current lot, from Virat Kohli to Shikhar Dhawan, there are plenty of cricketers who are fashion icons for the Indian fans.

When asked about the most styled cricketer who had the best wardrobe during his playing days, Sourav Ganguly gave a very interesting answer.

Speaking at an even in Kolkata during the Eden Gardens Test between India and New Zealand, the Prince of Kolkata said, "I think Sachin Tendulkar. He used to only bat and shop. Rest didn't bother. In England and Australia, he would get Test match hundreds and next day you would see him in an Armaani store, or a Versace store picking shirts and putting it up in the hanger. He was probably very fond of his clothes and had a great wardrobe."

At the same event, former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag revealed that Ganguly often asked his team-mates to pack his kit bag as he was too lazy to do that.
