Delhi: Man molests woman, masturbates in front of her, flees with mobile

NEW DELHI: A 32-year-old Delhi woman was on Thursday allegedly molested by a man, who also masturbated in front of her. The incident took place on the terrace of her office located in Connaught Place (CP).

The woman, who works at a language school in CP, took a break from her work and went to the terrace. She was speaking over the phone when the accused reportedly groped her. While she tried to run away, the victim found that the terrace gate was locked.

"I was on a break on the terrace when a man started pacing in front of me, he then groped me, when I tried running away I noticed the terrace gate was bolted," the victim said.

Following this, the accused grabbed her hand and touched himself inappropriately. It was after she screamed, the man snatched her phone and escaped from the place.

"He then grabbed my hand and started touching himself, I shouted after which he ran away," she added.

The woman's colleagues showed her the CCTV footage in which the face of the accused was not clearly visible, police said.

The woman told police that she would be able to recognise the man if she sees him again. Police are scanning CCTV footage from the adjacent buildings to identify the accused.
