New Delhi: External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Sunday evening celebrated Karva Chauth along with other married women in Delhi.

Draped in a red saree, Swaraj was seen performing the rituals with devotion at her residence.

Karva Chauth is a festival celebrated by married Hindu women in which they observe a whole-day fast till the moonrise.

It is believed that women, particularly across North India, observe this ritual for the well-being and longevity of their husbands.
