NEW DELHI: The model who was allegedly gangraped on the pretext of getting a job in Delhi recorded her statement on Friday before the duty magistrate at Patiala House Court in the national capital. She recorded her statement under 164 CrPC Act.
She was allegedly gangraped by three people on the pretext of providing jobs in Television and Films in Delhi's Sarojini Nagar on December 25.
The accused were reportedly known to the woman.
The incident came to light after the victim approached the police and registered a complaint against the accused.
She told police that she had met the accused around 15-20 days ago. They had then promised her to arrange a meeting with a film and TV director in Mumbai.
She met them on December 25 at a mall from where they took her to their flat where she was allegedly raped.
She approached the police on December 26, after which the three accused were arrested.
