New Delhi: The first allotment list of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Under Graduate (NEET UG) 2017 is likely to be released on July 15. 

The counselling process for the All India Quota seats is being conducted by Medical Council Committee (MCC). 

Once declared, the candidates can check the list by visiting the website mcc.nic.in. The seat allotment procedure for round I will be held on from July 13 to July 14.

Out of 10,90,085 candidates appearing in the NEET-UG 2017, 6,11,539 passed the medical entrance examination which was held on May 7. The cut-off marks for general candidates this year is considered 131.

Also, the counselling process for All India Quota seats will be held in two rounds after which the vacant seats would be transferred to the state quota, reported NDTV. The academic session for MBBS and BDS courses would begin from August 4, 2017. 

How to check the NEET UG 2017 first allotment results:

- Visit mcc.nic.in

- Click on 'UG Medical Counseling'

- Enter necessary details such as registration number or roll number and password

- Click to submit

The students are suggested to download and take a print out of the result displayed on the screen for future reference.

As reported by India Today, the counselling is being held for 15 per cent of the general category seats. In the first round of seat allotment, a candidate has to report to the allotted institute.
