New Delhi: Mohanlal starrer 'Pulimurugan' is riding high at the Malayalam Box Office. You will be amazed to know that the movie has now become first Malayalam movie to enter 100 crore club. Yes, you read that right.

"This is made possible by each and every one of the audience who watched this movie in the theatre, here i am extending my sincere thanks to them and above all to the Almighty for his blessings," the 56-year-old star posted on Facebook.

He added, "thanks to Director Vysakh, Producer Tomichan Mulakupadam, Stunt Choreographer Peter Hein, Scriptwriter Udayakrishna ,Cinematographer Shaji and to Music Director Gopi Sunder and the entire crew , for their effort in making Pulimurugan, a big success."

The film, made at a cost of Rs 25 crore, released last week in close to 400 screens in the state, country and abroad. In five days since its release, it crossed the Rs 20 crore mark.

One of Malayalam film industry's most popular hero, Mohanlal is having a double success run, as his other film "Oppam" was also a huge hit.

One of the reasons for the stupendous success of "Pulimurugan" is the actor takes on a tiger and this has enthralled not just his fans but even the ordinary film-goers.
