`Substance abuser` Amanda Bynes has spent $1.4m in just months, says parents

London: Amanda Bynes` parents have claimed that the troubled star is a substance abuser, who has spent 1.4 million dollars in a matter of just few months and travelled by taxi from New York to Los Angeles.

According to court papers filed by Bynes` parents Rick and Lynn, who are seeking a temporary conservatorship over their daughter, the former child star has become "extremely paranoid about being watched" and even tapes windows shut in a bid to stop cameras from capturing pictures of her, the Mirror reported. Meanwhile, according to TMZ.com, it is claimed the actress has "profound issues with her body image" and is "obsessed with the fact that she and others are ugly." The former ` Disney ` star was believed to have had 4 million dollars in the bank but around 1.2 million dollars have been spent in a very short amount of time. It seems that Bynes withdrew 100,000 dollars from her bank on June 4 and a further 100,000 dollars on July 2. Her parents, who do not know what the money was spent on, believe that she spent "a substantial amount" on marijuana and other illegal substances. The star recently returned to Los Angeles from where she was living in New York and told her parents that she "cabbed it." ANI
