Chennai: Hindi cinema superstar Aamir Khan called on veteran director and Dadasaheb Phalke award recipient, K Balachander here.
The `courtesy meeting` at the director`s residence yesterday lasted for 30 minutes.
Balachander, who had directed the superhit `Ek Duje Ke Liye,` wished Khan well for his upcoming `Dhoom 3` and also congratulated him for hosting `Satyameva Jayate`, a TV show on social issues.
Aamir Khan was "exicted and happy" over his interaction with the veteran filmmaker, according to a release.
