Alicia Keys pushes for HIV-AIDS awareness with new project

Washington: Alicia Keys is pushing HIV-AIDS awareness into the limelight with her new project called Empowered. The Grammy-winning singer told ABC News that it is very important to talk about the fatal disease, as it would continue if people don`t talk about it. Keys said that Americans are not really discussing, though they tend to have a good international dialogue. The R and B star said that people have to learn as much as they can about AIDS and have to share with as many people we possible. The 32-year-old singer-songwriter said that the result of an HIV-AIDS test doesn`t matter because if someone is at risk then their kids are at risk as well. She said that she thought people have gotten a bit complacent and they feel that it will not happen to them. Keys asserted that only talking to people about it openly can help the cause. ANI
