Barry Gibb reveals sibling rivalry among Bee Gees

Barry Gibb, who formed the legendary band with brothers Maurice and Robin, says they had sibling rivalry.

London: Bee Gees star Barry Gibb, who formed the legendary band with brothers Maurice and Robin, says they had sibling rivalry.
The 67-year-old musician said working with his brothers was very competitive, reported Daily Express. "It`s the difference between being a group and being brothers in a group. There`s another kind of rivalry that is really in the blood," Barry said. "Who wants to be the favourite child, who wants to be the favourite performer, who do they love the best? We were competitive," he added. Barry said after the death of Maurice in 2003, he was able to repair the relationship with Robin, who passed away in 2012. "Robin was really competitive with me and Maurice was the middle guy... Robin and I were the ones to have a clash. I think we became disconnected about 12 years ago and then when we lost Mau, Robin and I gravitated back towards each other a little bit," he said. "It is a very strange experience to know that you have no brothers now. I have a hard time dealing with it. I`m coming to terms with this slowly but I really miss them," he added.
