Beyonce is a workaholic

London: Pop diva Beyonce Knowles is so devoted to her music that she often refuses to take a break while rehearsing in her recording studio.The `Single Ladies` hitmaker insists that her career is main priority. The singer says she works like a machine and is ready to forgo breaks in order to keep the harmony of rehearsals, Contactmusic reported. "When you are the person that created the music and you know how you want things to look, it`s all harmony, it all has to work together. "When I work I don`t eat, I don`t use the restroom. I`m like a machine and I think my team is just as crazy as I am because they are right there with me, pushing it and pushing themselves. In the end it`s a team effort and it is overwhelming. It`s hard." The singer, who is married to rapper Jay-Z, reveals that her work is inspired by her personal experiences including his relationship with her husband. "People don`t know that these songs meant more than just the songs that are catchy. It`s my life. A lot of the people in the audience would know Crazy in Love, but would not particularly know this is when I met my first love - my husband. There`s an actual story behind all of my songs and why I wrote the songs and I wanted to show that." PTI
