Washington DC: Amber Heard has revealed that she is not afraid of calling herself a bisexual just for the sake of staying palatable in Hollywood and didn't want to be defined by her sexuality.

The 'Magic Mike XXL' star told a publication that it was difficult to disclose her true sexuality as an emerging actress, and even though she didn't know any Hollywood lead actress who shared the place with her, she did it as she didn't want to hide, People Magazine reported.

The 29-year-old American actress, who's married to actor Johnny Depp, shared that she had rewritten her lines for her upcoming movie with Joe Manganiello to suggest that her character was bisexual.

Back in 2010, Heard had come out to show her support for Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD).
