Los Angeles: Kirk Cameron has emerged as the biggest winner at the 35th annual Razzie Awards, which celebrated the worst achievements in film in 2014.

Cameron, 44, and his Christian comedy 'Saving Christmas' won four out of the six categories they were nominated for, including Worst Picture and Worst Actor, reported People magazine.

Cameron Diaz was honoured at the ceremony, receiving the award for Worst Actress for her roles in 'The Other Woman' and 'Sex Tape'.

The 42-year-old actress was nominated for two other awards, including 'Worst Supporting Actress' for her stint as Coleen Hannigan in the 'Annie' remake and 'Worst Screen Combo' with Jason Segel in 'Sex Tape', but lost to Megan Fox ('Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles') and Cameron and his ego ('Saving Christmas') respectively.

This year's ceremony also introduced a new category to the proceedings. The Razzie Redeemer Award was given to a previous Razzie Award winner who has since gone on to receive critical acclaim for their later work.

Ben Affleck has been the inaugural winner, going from Razzie Worst Actor winner with 'Gigli' in 2003 to producing Oscar-winning film 'Argo' in 2012 and generating huge box-office success with 'Gone Girl' last year.
