London: Troubled star Charlie Sheen says he will don his running shoes for an upcoming charity race in Chicago.

The former `Two and a Half Men` star has pledged his support to Pancreatic Cancer Research`s Dash For Detection challenge by participating in a five kilometre run or walk next month, reported a website.

"Hello Chicago!! I`ll be there to scoot... Walk or Run! Dash for detection for pancreatic cancer research June 2 in Chicago," he posted on Twitter.

Sheen, 46, is known for his philanthropic nature. In 2004, he raised millions of dollars for research and education for breast cancer and has been a major donor and supporter of Aid For AIDS since 2006.
