Mumbai: Despite being a controversial figure in Bollywood, Salman Khan proves to be a lion-hearted man time and again.
The `Dabangg` Khan has yet again lent a helping hand to a dame in distress. And this time it’s none other than the model-turned-actress Mugdha Godse.
The actress was desperately waiting for her 2 year old pay cheque from Percept Company but she was being denied her payment by the bosses.
Mugdha, who was in deep trouble approached Salman Khan to help her in the case. And within hours of having had a word with Salman, the actress received her cheque of Rs 6 Lakhs, for Madhur Bhandarkar’s `Jail`.
Talking to a tabloid, a source revealed, “Every time they told her, `kal denge, parson denge` (we will pay you tomorrow or day after). She first thought it was one of those usual delays, but later started fearing that something was amiss.”
“The non-payment for `Jail` was constantly telling on Mugdha. She knew she had no choice but to seek help. And who better than Salman! She told Salman about her dues,” the source added.
Mugdha discussed her problem with Salman during an event where the head honcho of Percept, Shailendra Singh was present.
The fearless star walked up to Singh and asked him to release her payment.
“Shailendra froze, and promised that Mugdha would soon get her money. She could not believe her eyes. While she knew that Salman`s intervention would help, but didn`t think that the result would be so quick,” said a friend of the actress.
On being asked by the tabloid, Mugda said, “Salman helped me to get my money in no time. He is a real hero, and a great friend.”
