Eddie Redmayne eyes beach vacation post Oscars

Los Angeles: British actor Eddie Redmayne said he wants a beach vacation with wife Hannah Bagshawe after the Oscars.

The 33-year-old actor has already confessed he's a big fan of reality TV, but “The Theory of Everything” star and Best Actor Oscar nominee admits that his guilty pleasures don't stop there. 

Asked what he would do after the Oscars, he told people.com: “Vacation, vacation, vacation. It's a wondrous circus, but I think after I finish the next film, maybe a beach with some transparent water. I've never been on one of those holidays. I'd need to take a lot of sun cream, though.

"When you're an actor, there's always something you have to read for work, so you always have to either be reading a script or researching a script. That moment where you get to choose a book that you want to read just for pleasure is that rare thing."

Redmayne spoke before receiving the Cinema Vanguard award at the Santa Barbara Film Festival Thursday, alongside co-star Felicity Jones.
