Jeremy Renner 'devastated' by divorce?

Los Angeles: Actor Jeremy Renner is said to be "devastated" after his wife, Sonni Pacheco, filed for divorce from him.

Pacheco has asked for legal separation from the "Avengers" actor after just 10 months of marriage. Together, they have a 21-month-old daughter named Ava Berlin.

Their relationship is said to have started crumbling following their secret nuptials, but Renner was hoping to make things work for the sake of their child.

A source close to the star said the two had started sleeping in separate rooms some time ago.

"It wasn't traditional, but he was hopeful they could make it work for Ava. He's devastated," the source told usmagazine.com.

Pacheco is now seeking physical custody of their daughter and has requested her stolen passport, birth certificate and social security card from Renner in her court documents.

Renner is reported to be worried that his daughter will now be taken to live in Canada, but the insider says the beauty "just wants independence".
