Washington: Johnny Depp's France home near St. Tropez, which sprawls across 37 acres, is up for grabs at 27 million dollars.

According to Sotheby's International Realty France, the idyllic 12 rooms and 12 baths abode, which the 52-year-old actor had purchased in 2001, is a small village in itself comprising of over a dozen buildings with a main house, multiple guest cottages, a chapel, a cafe and workshop/garage, reported People magazine.

Sotheby's France chairman Alexander Kraft said that Depp wanted to sell the Plan de la Tour property as a closure, and hopes it would give someone else the same happiness it brought him.

The property, which lies in a well-forested area of southern France, is just 25 miles away from Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Pitt's estate.

Apart from the 200-year-old stone buildings, it boasts of acres of olive trees, planted hillsides, a vegetable garden, fountains, two swimming pools where one comes with its own beach bar, and a skateboard park.

Depp had personally decorated the house, which will be sold with all the items intact.

Sotheby's said that "the estate is not a ritzy showplace, but an utterly charming family home that truly reflects Johnny Depp's unique character and taste."
