Liam Gallagher introduces girlfriend to mother

London: Musician Liam Gallagher has introduced girlfriend Debbie Gwyther to his mother for the first time.

The lovebirds visited Peggy in Manchester over the weekend.

"The fact Debbie has met the other woman in his life - his mum - shows how serious he is about her," a friend of Gallagher told mirror.co.uk.

He said Gwyther, 31, who works on the musician's management team, had helped the ex-Oasis star during a "tough 12 months".

Dad-of-four Gallagher, 42, has dealt with his divorce from second wife Nicole Appleton, the love child he fathered with a US journalist and the break-up of band Beady Eye.

"Through everything, Debbie has been his rock and he is totally in love with her. Liam hasn't been working and has a lot on his mind, but Debbie has been helping him deal with it all. They're both looking forward to 2015, it will be a fresh start," his friend added.
