LiLo alleged hit-and-run case stalls due to non-cooperation

Los Angeles police are finding it difficult to build a case against Lindsay Lohan over allegations she was involved in a hit-and-run mishap.

Washington: Los Angeles police are finding it difficult to build a case against Lindsay Lohan over allegations she was involved in a hit-and-run mishap last week, as both the actress and her accuser have refused to co-operate. Lohan allegedly struck him while she was driving her Porsche during early hours of 14 March coming back from The Sayers club. Cops will refer the matter to prosecutors if the alleged victim is uncooperative.
According to sources, an investigator from an insurance company contacted Lindsay’s lawyer and said they were investigating the alleged victim for 6 - 8 cases of insurance fraud - allegedly staging car accidents and filing phony claims, a website has reported. However, the insurance investigator told the actor’s lawyer he believed the person accusing Lindsay of hit-and-run was the same person they were investigating but sources at the insurance company says the alleged fraudster’s first name is Amr - not Thaer, and the last name is different as well. Kamal has hired famed lawyer Mark Geragos, who has already made a settlement demand to the ‘Mean Girls’ star. Geragos has said about the allegations that his client was not involved in insurance fraud. The actress will be in court next week for her final probation progress hearing. ANI
